Canada, US & Mexico Joint Bid Wins Right to Host 2026 World Cup


Canada, Mexico, and the United States have won to host the 2026 World Cup over Morocco, according to Fifa.

FIFA votes to play 2026 World Cup in North America over Moroccan bid. Matches will be held in U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

Canada, Mexico, and the United States in collaboration have won 134 votes, whereas Morocco has got 65 votes.


For four months, Morocco’s request to host the World Cup has been unsuccessful.

The 2026 tournament will be the biggest World Cup ever held – with 48 teams playing 80 matches over 34 days.
