Committee is Formed to Investigate Cases of Prisoners of Ethio-Eritrea War
Ethiopian and Eritrea have formed a technical committee to investigate and decide issues related to prisoners of war who are held in custody in both countries during the war.
According to Workneh Gebeyehu, Minister at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the technical committee to be established soon will study and propose issues related to war between the two countries.
In addition, to this duty, the committee will follow all the technical issues related to the implementation of the agreement that the two nations have agreed.
Forming a national technical committee to handle detail issues of the agreement is one of the agreements that the two governments are agreed upon during the visit of Abiy Ahmed (PhD) to Eritrea, said Workneh.
During official visit of high Ethiopian delegates, Ethiopia and Eritrea have signed an agreement on various economic and social issues ranging from restart land and air transport systems to resuming telephone service and other business engagements.
