Primer Hold Talks With OLF Heads During His Visit to Asmara
Prime minister Abiy Ahmed held talks with the chairman of Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) Dawud Ibssa during his stay to Eritrea, according to BBC Amharic.
After having a face to face discussions the two parties have reached in consensus in principle according to Tolera Adaba, spokesperson of the front.
The two parties are agreed to extend their deals abroad, he added.
However, the discussion date is not clearly mentioned.
The government of Ethiopia and OLF will include many topics in the future discussions to be held out of Ethiopia.
Days ago, the parliament has rescinded the designation of Oromo Liberation Front (OLF), Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) & Ginbot 7 as terrorist groups.
It is recalled that two Ethiopian rebel group military leaders, Yonatan Dubissa and Abebe Geresu, returned home after years of military preparations in exile following discussions with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
The two leaders who came to Ethiopia were joining the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) and had been operating in Eretria.
