Abiy’s 100 Days Diplomacy Repatriates 3,000 Inmates Home
Around 3000 citizens stranded in different foreign countries have repatriated to home following diplomatic efforts made by the new leadership, during the last three months, according to government officials.
United Arab Emirates Djibouti, Kenya, Egypt, Sudan and Saudi Arabia are some of the countries where these citizens repatriated from, Melese Alem told media.
Ministry of Affairs has announced that various diplomatic success in economic, political and social areas are achieved after the new prime minister received the premiership.
Dr. Abiy Ahmed has successfully completed a series of diplomatic missions in the short term, said, spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
After his visit to Egypt, Abiy Ahmed (PhD) arrived home on board 32 inmates freed from Egypt prisons.
